JAZZ 4 BREAKFAST!

There are times when I wouldn't trade my life for anything! I love writing, performing and teaching. I am blessed with awesome friends and family.
Own a home that brings me comfort and joy. And most times, I dance to my own tune!

But today started out crappy. Not one of my typical "I'm lovin' my life" kind of days.

First, I hit the floor running, at about 5 a.m.-- all geeked to work on some projects I'm excited about.

I'm contributing to an anthology for "Katrina Relief Project" and preparing for a few workshops I'm scheduled to teach.

Anyhow, go to my computer and it won't turn on. Check my phone, no dial tone. Technical difficulties put me behind, and I ain't too happy!

But, determined not to let it damper my mood, I turn on my jazz while preparing for work...and I remember that there ain't nothin' that a little Jazz and a soothing bubble bath won't cure!
